It needs access to reliable information, transparent decision-making processes, human oversight, and strong security controls. Without those safeguards, an AI agent could make costly mistakes or act on incomplete information. For businesses, Agentic AI has the potential to transform customer service, software development, finance, healthcare, logistics, education, and creative industries. For individuals, it could become a personal research assistant, career coach, travel planner, financial organizer, or even a digital chief of staff.
